Hannah Delynn is a singer and songwriter in Nashville, TN, a city she loves for its familial creative community. Hannah’s true north has always been music and words. Originally from Florida, she found her way to Music City USA in 2013, by way of New Zealand, Australia, and British Columbia.

Hannah’s great grandfather, Pop Johnson, led “Pop Johnson and His Family of Range Riders”, of which Hank Williams, Sr. was a rotating member. Pop’s country/swing band performed theaters from South to North, ending up at Chicago’s National Barn Dance, the precursor to the Grand Ole Opry. It seems only natural that Hannah was drawn to explore the home of country music and all it has to offer.

She was introduced to Nashville’s musical landscape by Grant Gustafson (Blank Range). She quickly found herself at home in the rich music community and soon co-created “Friends of Mine”, a monthly listening series to celebrate Nashville’s up-and-coming singers and writers across myriad genres. Together with Caroline Bowman, Hannah has hosted such artists as: Julia Jacklin, Eric Slick, Katie Pruitt, Erin Rae, Andrew Combs and many more.

In addition to live shows, “Friends of Mine” has expanded to a new radio platform. Hannah and Caroline can be heard bi-weekly HERE. Also see photos from past shows and find more information over on the Friends of Mine tab on this website!

Hannah first kicked off her recording career in 2012 with progressive mandolin player, Joshua Pinkham. Hannah and Josh brought life to her original songs, which fueled her love of storytelling and musical collaboration. Two more EPs followed - 2016’s “ROAM” and 2021’s “Naked Room Demos”.

Hannah’s most recent EP release, “Making Friends”, is a butterfly emerging from the chrysalis. Following an intense period of dissolution, reconciliation, and renewal, this work weaves stories of reflection, at once whimsical and soulful. Recorded at Camp Senia Studios in East Nashville, this collection of songs also captures the masterful influences of fellow musicians and producers Will Honaker and Ross McReynolds. Her greatest pride in this album is drawn from these brilliant and meaningful collaborations.

You can find Hannah at events in and around Nashville - please say hello while you’re there. Her calendar of music events can be found at www.hannahdelynn.com.

Hannah’s love of collaboration continues to unfold into new experiences. Latest is singing harmonies with dear friend and local Nashville singer and songwriter, Lydia Luc, on Lydia’s 2022 EP “Garden Songs”. Be sure to have listen here.

Most recently, Hannah has been touring with Maya de Vitry as a member of her Infinite Band. Maya so enjoyed the collaboration of this group (also including Joel Timmons, Ethan Jodziewitz) that she wanted to record the band immediately. Within a few shorts months, the Infinite EP was recorded and released into the wild. You can find Maya and her Infinite Band touring in cities and festivals throughout the USA.
